I live with a diabetic child… I need quick, not too much cooking, (as it is 105 degrees today and most days this summer) low’ish carb Summer recipes. Also, as always is my life, on a tight budget please! Any help or suggestions are greatly appreciated! Hope you all have a happy and fun summer!

My husband is a extremely picky eater and a type 1 diabetic. His food interests are extremely limited. And a lot of food smells make him sick. I come from a home where we love to cook and eat most foods.
Any good ideas for a recipe’s that involve plain/blan food topics? Or perhaps you know someone like this in your life where you could share how you dealt with it?
Thanks!

I need at least 10 recipes designed for children that have to be baked in the oven from a range of sources, such as TV, internet, and recipe book, magazines, etc. Its proving to be quite hard.
I need at least one vegetarian dish, a couple of dessert dishes and probably at least one diabetic/lactose intolerant.
I’d be grateful for any help
thanks x
Also could you make sure any submitted are in GRAMS
thanks again
You know, to all those people who say that i could do my homework myself, I kind of am in the middle of it. I asked question because i wanted help, and sarcastic remarks do NOT.

high cholesterol and people who are trying to lose weight?
You see, my dad has diabetes and both my dad and my mom have high cholesterol and I’m trying to eat healthier for their benefit and mine.
I’m just wondering what kind of food to cook for the three of us?
Dad: High cholesterol, diabetes
Mom: High cholesterol
Me: Trying to watch what I eat and lose some weight.
So what kind of recipes should I look for?
Oh, I’m 15.

I love baking homeade dishes, but I recently found out I am glucose intolerant, which is why I constantly have a weight problem. So long story short, no sugar for me! But splenda is okay! So I need recipes! Any good ones that you’ve tried?

My two year old is on a low sugar diet and is allergic to nuts. The doctor has suggested that he get more fiber in his diet. So, I was looking for some ideas on a granola that I could make that he could eat for a snack.
